My Journey to 63 kg with Isagenix' diet plan - Day 11-19

Wow! It has been 9 days since my last post. Things have been hectic these past 9 days and not to worry, I haven't forgotten about my diet plan. I have been monitoring my weight and my waist size everyday.
The point of this exercise is to see if the diet plan or diet program given by the product - Isagenix will give me the results I would like. My goal to this diet program is to go back to my normal weight of 63kg - 64kg. I have gained 8kg during the Christmas period and my weight prior to me taking the Isagenix products was 71kg with a waist size of 35 inches which I was normally 32 inches.

Since my last post of my diet plan, my weight 9 days ago was 68.5 kg and my waist size was 34 inches.

As of today, Day 19

My current weight is: drruuummsss please!! - 67.8 kg!!

My current weight is: drruuummsss please!! - 33.25 inches!!

Still ROCKIN' BABY!!

I feel good, I feel very clean in the inside, and I feel a lot of more energy even though my average sleep lately is 5-6 hrs.

All I have been doing is following their diet plan, taking the products, eating good healthy and nutritious food, exercising 5 days a week, and having a junk food of your choice once a week. For instance last Sunday - June 18, I had BBQ chicken and chips. Did it affect my eating lifestyle? No! Did I gain weight? No! The other day, I also had a thick chocolate cake that my sister made and boy was it yummy.
I have read, that the product is designed to burn fat faster when you combine it with exercise. If you need to find out more about the products click here.

Till Next time!

Isagenix Press Release
Leading Cancer and Vitamin-C Research Team Praises Isagenix Products for Superior Quality

Drs. Michael J. Gonzalez (left) and Jorge R. Miranda-Missari (right) say Isagenix products outclass others.
Chandler, Ariz. - May 30, 2006 - Leading cancer and vitamin-C researchers Michael J. Gonzalez, Ph.D., D.Sc., and Jorge R. Miranda-Missari, Pharm. D., of the University of Puerto Rico said they use Isagenix products for their better quality.

The scientists-who also consult various athletes and sport teams-recommend Isagenix products to anyone looking for a way to help fill nutritional gaps. They said Isagenix Ionix Supreme's "concentrated formula with a broad base" of nutrients is especially helpful to the body. Dr. Gonzalez said, "I've seen its effectiveness."

Dr. Miranda-Missari agreed: "You need something like Isagenix products to give your system a boost."

Dr. Gonzalez confirmed that most people should also be supplementing with a "good" vitamin C product. He said Isagenix C-Lyte is "more than good."

"Compared to many on the market, it's my favorite," said Dr. Gonzalez. "The Isagenix vitamin C is a more complete system that's gentler and has minerals and enzymes."

Researching Vitamin C and Cancer

Drs. Gonzalez and Miranda-Missari lead the Bio-Communications Research Institute's RECNAC II project team in Puerto Rico that has published more than 20 articles about vitamin C and cancer since 1999. The team-advancing initial research made by the late Hugh Riordan-has found new evidence that high-dose IV-therapy vitamin C kills cancerous tumor cells.

The scientists hope that through RECNAC II they can introduce a new conventional cancer treatment using vitamin C in the near future."We want to come up with a non-toxic way to treat cancer," said Dr. Gonzalez. "Chemotherapy is highly toxic."

The National Institute of Health confirmed RECNAC II's research concept in a Sep. 12, 2005 issue of the Proceedings of National Academy of Sciences, according to the Orthomedical Medicine News Service. The team's latest article appears in the December 2005 issue of Puerto Rico Health Sciences Journal.

Cancer treatment with vitamin C was first researched by Nobel-prize winner Linus Pauling in the 1970s.

High-Quality Nutritional Supplements

Drs. Gonzalez and Miranda-Missari believe strongly that staying healthy in our modern world depends not only on a balanced diet and exercise, but on nutritional supplementation. They added that supplements should be high-quality products like those created by Isagenix.

"You can't use cheap this or that," said Dr. Gonzalez. "This is health! We're not talking about just anything."

My Journey to 63 kg with Isagenix' diet plan - Day 6,7,8,9,10

It has been 5 days since my last post about my diet plan or diet program. We had a long weekend here in Melbourne to celebrate Queens Birthday. It's funny how the Queen's actual birthday last April and I reckon it's just an excuse to party.

It was a party alright and I thought there goes my diet plan. Last Friday night, we had a boy's night out with my friends and I had a few tequila shots. I had a choice not to drink it, however, it's a sign of respect as well if someone offers you something.

I guess I also wanted to prove that dieting doesn't mean not to eat and not having fun with your lifestyle. I wanted this exercise or diet plan with the aid of the new product - Isagenix, that I can reduce my weight, eat and have fun.

My diet plan day 6.

Weight - 69 kg
Waist - 34.5 inches

Not bad regarding I had the fun the night before.
I trained for 2 hrs, partied till 3 am and ate combination congee in China Town that morning.

My diet plan day 7.

Weight - 69.8 kg
Waist - 34.75

As you can see, I gained some weight. hehehe! Saturday was a challenging day for me. It was my niece's birthday and how could I resist the good food! Yuummy! I ate a lot but looked at what I ate which I was proud off. I had a lot of greens, roasted chicken, beef stew, and a little bit of carbs. I also had cake and fruit salad.

My diet plan day 8.

Being a public holiday, I went for a long run, meditated, and attended my friend's birthday. It was another eating session during dinner. Steak, roasted vegetables, cheese cake and black forest cake. Mmmm mmmm mmmm...
That day, I only had 2 glasses mixed with the Isa cleans and 1 glass of the Isa shake for breakfast and fruit in between. For lunch, I had fish and vegetables with rice.

Weight - 70 kg
Waiste - 34.75kg.

My diet plan day 9.

I purposely didnt check my weight and waste today. I was hectic with my work. I followed the diet plan today.

For Breakfast - 1 glass of water with isacleanse, 1 isashake, 1 tablet of accelerator, fruit
Lunch - vegetables, meat, and rice
For afternoon tea - 1 glass isacleanse, 1 muesli bar
1.5 hrs - taekwondo training.
For Dinner - tofu and vegetbles.

My diet plan day 10.

Today, I went to check my weight and Ladies and gentlemen, my diet plan is on it's way.

Weight: 68.5 kg
Waist: 34 inches

I feel good, strong, and very clean in the inside. So far, I love the Isa cleanse, and I feel cleaner in the inside.
I have proven through this experiment for the past few days that dieting should be fun and you don't need to kill yourself by not eating and not having fun.

The products so far are excellent and my journey through this diet plan is exciting.

Till then, have an outstanding day!

My Journey to 63 kg with Isagenix' diet plan - Day 5

Day 5

It's sunny outside today and cold. After a 6 hour sleep, I got up prior to the Australian market opening and when I checked my weight today, I was...(drrummss please)

Current weight: 69.5 kg. No change today!
Current waste: 34.6 inches. Gained .25 inches

Mmmm... So what was different from yesterday?

When, I woke up this morning, I felt bloated. I did an experiment from my food intake last night.

For Dinner, I ate a lot. I had like 2.5 big plates. What my mom cooked last night was different and absolutely tasty. She made the following:

  • Mung sprouts salad with pieces of egg and bacon tossed with vinegar, a touch of soy sauce, and sesame oil.
  • Beef stew with fennel, beans, sun dried tomatoes, and tomato sauce.
  • Rice.

I skipped taking the Isashake and took the Isacleanse instead. I didn't even take the accelerator tablet.

So, from that experiment alone, I didn't gain weight but maintained the weight. The bloatedness I believe is from eating too much carbs. In this case, too much rice. Also, I didn't exercise yesterday so the result is still good.

I received an e-mail today stating whether I am purposely not eating. If I was in a competition mode, perhaps a little less carbs and plenty of vegetables and fruit. On the other hand since this whole experiment is based on the product I am currently testing, I am following their diet program. So I would like to stress out clearly that I am eating very well.

So, for all you skeptics out there, it's time to get out of your comfort zone and try something new!

I have a philosophy that I implemented in my life. "You will never ever know, if you will never ever go!" Test something and then evaluate it whether it's good for you or not! I am talking here about the good things in life not the bad ones. ie: drugs or alcohol. :)

For breakfast:
1 glass of the Isashake
1 glass of water mixed with the Isaclean
1 tablet of the accelerator
1 apple

Since, I had my breakfast a bit late, the time between my break fast and lunch was less than 2 hrs.

For Lunch:
I had a big lunch.
1 glass of water mixed with the Isaclean
2 glasses of water
A plate and a half of Stir fried vegetables with rice.

I am currently visiting and living at my parents house and it's a bit of a challenge because my mom is an outstanding cook.

In summary, I have been eating the foods I love and with the aid of the diet plan with the products, I am still getting the results I wanted.

Today, I would need to be more disciplined and follow the diet program. hehehe! :)

My Journey to 63 kg with Isagenix' diet plan - Day 4

Day 4.

It's cold here this morning and gloomy. Definitely winter is here and it's a bit unmotivating to exercise.
Nevertheless, I checked my weight this morning and my waist size and boy oh boy!

My current weight: 69.5 kg!! What a beauty!
My waist size: 34.25 inches or 87 cm!

I can't believe it! It has only been 4 days and I have lost 1.5 kg and 1.9 cm on my waist size.

For breakfast yesterday:
1 glass of the Isa shake
1 glass mixed with 4 oz of the Isa Cleanse
1 Apple
In between breakfast and lunch, 2 glasses of water.

For yesterday's lunch:
2 yummy tofu skewers (tapas style) with bread in a restaurant
3 glasses of water.
For lunch, I was tempted to have some chips or fries (for american lingo)

For early dinner yesterday:
Steamed vegetables, fish, and little rice.
1 glass of water mixed with 4 oz of Isa Cleanse
1 glass of water

Late snack:
1 glass of water mixed with 4 oz of Isa Cleanse
1 glass of Isa shake

I love cake and I was tempted to have one yesterday. So to keep my sweet cravings, I took Isagenix snacks. Have you tasted Ovaltinees? When I was a kid, I used to eat these. They are chocolates formed into little tables. Isagenix snacks are the same. The only difference, they have the proper vitamins and nutrients that are natural and organic. So, for my late night snack, I had a couple of them.

For exercise: I walked a lot yesterday keeping up with my chores.

That is it for now and stay tuned for tomorrow's results. It's exciting on my behalf because I just don't know what result I am going to have for tomorrow.

My Journey to 63 kg with Isagenix' diet plan

For the past 20 years, taekwondo has been a big part of my life. I have been competing nationally and internationally for the past 15 years. In taekwondo, you would need to be in a certain category if you would like to compete. I have always been slim and I have fought in 3 different categories: fly, bantam, and feather weight divisions. Being in these divisions, I would need to diet to lose the weight. As a result, I have attained an extensive experience in dieting losing 2 to 6 kilos in 6 to 8 weeks. I have tried all sorts of diet plans and all sort of products that would enhance my performance while losing weight. In the early stages of my taekwondo career, I didn't have enough knowledge on how to diet and as a result, I was not eating properly that my body needed. I have been told to go to the sauna and have supplements that would give me energy. Through time, I started educating myself and started experimenting. So far, alkaline diet is my favourite.

Having a balanced diet with lots of fruit and vegetables and not combining your carbohydrates with proteins is vital. A form of exercise should be part of your diet plan. Also, I suggest to eliminate junk food, alcohol, and drugs if you want optmimum performance. Imagine not changing the oil of your car. Better yet, imagin putting diesel petrol into a high performance V8 Spyder Ferrari. I wonder what would happen to that car? Your body is the same and you need to remember that it's the only body you will ever have. Not like cars where you can always buy a new one if it goes bust.

Even though I have educated myself, I can't say that I am a nutritionist nor a dietitian so please do your homework and research to have your proper diet plan if you want to reach goals whether to lose weight or just be plain healthy.

Coming back to Australia and living in the US for a year, I have gained 8 kilos and my six pack is gone. Hehehe! I haven't competed for more than a year now and I believe it's time to have a good diet plan once again. A diet program that would give me outstanding results. For the past 15 years, I have incorporated dietary supplements into my training and I have used all sorts of products such as Musashi, Herbalife, GNC products, Nutriway, and just recently a small pack of Agel. They are all good products however, there's one product that got me curious.

I love hiqh quality products and I have come across a product called Isagenix. I have done my research with their products and it's all natural and organic ingredients. I am putting their products to the test and currently I am following their 30 day diet plan to see if it really works. They also have a 9 day diet plan or diet program.

About the Product:

Isagenix has been endorsed by the medical board such as Dr. Becky Natrajan, Dennis Harper, Dr. Cynthia Watson, Thomas McNeilis D.O, John Gray Ph.D - "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus".

What also attracted me with this product are the testimonials of professional athletes from body building champions, boxing champions, and olympic athletes.

The diet plan consists of a pre-cleanse which involves an Isagenix Cleance for life drink and their IsaLean shake which have all the vitamins and nutrients that the body currently need. If you would like to know more about their products please click here.

Day 1.
My current weight - 71 kg
My current waist - 35 inches or 88.9 cm
My goal: is to go back to my normal weight of 63kg feeling strong, cut, and lean.

Day 2.

My current weight - 70.5 kg. Yoohoo! half a kilo off!
My current waist - 35 inches or 88.9 cm

From yesterday, I felt good and all day yesterday, I was going to the toilet very frequently and the cleansing must be working!
